die Pforten unserer Nervenheilanstalt öffnen sich in diesem Jahr in der dunkelsten Nacht des Jahres.
Am 31. Oktober operieren euch zwei Live-Bands und ein düsteres Line-up an DJs, die euch bis in den Morgen durch die Schatten treiben und eure Knochen tanzen lassen.

DIVIDING LINES
(Deathrock/Post-Punk, Leipzig) Dividing Lines ist eine Formation aus fünf Musikern aus Leipzig. Ihr Sound spiegelt die großen Vorbilder des Post-Punk und Deathrock wider, untersucht sie jedoch auf ihre individuelle Natur. Durch ihre Unabhängigkeit erforschen sie die verschiedenen Spektren menschlicher Emotionen, in denen das Streben nach Glück und Freude dem unausweichlichen Zustand von Schmerz und Verlust gegenübersteht. Das Ergebnis ist ein Musikstil, der dem Hörer einen Rückzugsort eröffnet, in dem er seinen Gefühlen freien Lauf lassen und dem Alltag entfliehen kann.
Seit 2013 steht das Leipziger Quintett für düsteren, atmosphärischennDeathRock-Punk: kreischende DeathRock-Gitarren, treibender Walking-Bass, wabernde Keyboard-Sounds und eine Punk-Attitüde, die sich vor allem in ihrem DIY-Lebensstil ausdrückt. Dazu der melodisch-klagende Gesang. All das klingt düster, kalt und distanziert und wird Fans von 80er-Jahre-DeathRock- und PostPunk-Ikonen begeistern.

OSTBAHNHOF
(Synth-Pop, Berlin)
Ostbahnhof's music doesn’t call from the void, but into it. It encapsulates a quiet invocation, both intimate and distant—like a transmission from a forgotten future. The effect lingers….unsettling and magnetic.
Based in Berlin and active since 2023, this minimal synth wave trio conjures an eerie magic through hypnotic analog textures and stark, pulsating rhythms. Driving synth melodies and basslines, that shift between darkness and vibrancy, powerful beats and danceable structures define their distinctive sound.
In 2024 Pumpkin Records from UK released their very first Single as 7" vinyl EP. (Sold out). Same year the Band published their first-ever music video “Neukölln träumt“. Ostbahnhof’s self-titled debut album was released digitally in February 2025 by Danse Macabre Records. In September this year the US Label Castra Records released a K7 special US Edition. One month later the Band released their Album as well on tape for their european audience.

Gothic Pogo Festival XVIII

In the 20th year of our existence, the festival is entering its 18th round and brings new and old artists, musicians and makers of the global Gothic Pogo family together again in one place, back home to Werk2.
Live concerts can be visited on three days between June 5th and 10th and international party areas on all five days. Everything between Deathrock, Postpunk, ElectroPunk and Minimal Wave will be there again. Decorations, visuals, smaller and larger specials and collaborations are waiting for you.
As always, the important thing is: a good time for all people, in a free space where they can celebrate together peacefully, respectfully and above all with joy.

Im 20sten Jahr unseres Bestehens geht das Festival in die 18. Runde und bringt neue und alte Künstlerinnen, Musikerinnen und Macher*innen der weltweiten Gothic Pogo Familie wieder zusammen auf eine Szenefläche, nach Hause ins Werk2.
An drei Tagen können zwischen dem 5. und 9. Juni live Konzerte und an allen fünf Tagen internationale Party areas besucht werden. Zwischen Deathrock, Postpunk, ElectroPunk und Minimal Wave wird wieder alles dabei sein. Deko, Visuals, kleinere und größere Specials und Kooperationen warten auf euch.
Wichtig ist wie immer: Eine gute Zeit für alle Menschen, in einem Freiraum, in dem sie friedlich, respektvoll und vor allem mit Freude zusammen feiern können.

As a cultural association with a queer self-image, we would also like to take a stand against patriarchal structures on the international feminist day. We understand the feminist struggle in its intersectional complexity and want to help women, intersex, trans and non-binary people find space and visibility every day of the year.
Today, the successes achieved so far are celebrated and existing grievances are denounced. Feel invited to share this statement with us!
