the festival is getting closer and closer! Sadly due to traveling during covid times is not as easy as we would all wish for, Fangs on Fur will not be able to play this year’s GPF, but we will be happy to welcome them in one of our next additions.
Therefore, we have something really special for you!
AUSGANG (ENG) will headline this Edition’s Friday!
Here is a Message to YOU directly by the Band:
„Ausgang formed in 1983 out of the post-punk ashes of Kabuki. In our short time (they split in 1987), we were at the forefront of the ‚goth/punk‘ scene, releasing a handful of seminal (and now very rare) singles/albums.
In 2000, on the back of a Cherry Red Records ‚best of‘ album, ‚Last Exit‘, we reformed and toured the world – finding a new audience of ‚Hunters‘ who probably weren’t even alive first time round!
And now we’re doing it again! After stumbling on a cache of previously unreleased Kabuki/early Ausgang demos on cassette, once digitized, we were knocked out how cool and relevant they sounded! We teased a few on Bandcamp and the reaction was amazing! These songs will form the basis of the new set – with some live faves thrown in for good measure!
So – here we are! The offers are coming in thick & fast to play shows around the world! But the Gothic Pogo Festival will be the first! Complete with Terry (Sex Gang Children) MacLeay guesting on bass!

das Festival rückt näher und näher! Leider ist das Reisen in dieser Zeit Jahreszeit nicht so einfach, wie wir es uns alle wünschen würden, deshalb werden Fangs on Fur dieses Jahr nicht auf dem GPF spielen können. Aber wir freuen uns, sie bei einer unserer nächsten Editionen begrüßen zu dürfen.
Zum Ausgleich haben wir etwas ganz Besonderes für euch!

Hier ist eine Nachricht an euch direkt von der Band:

Im Jahr 2000 reformierten wir uns mit dem Best-of-Album „Last Exit“ von Cherry Red Records und tourten um die Welt – und fanden ein neues Publikum von „Hunters“, die beim ersten Mal wahrscheinlich noch gar nicht am Leben waren!
Und jetzt tun wir es wieder! Nachdem wir über einen Haufen bisher unveröffentlichter Kabuki/früher Ausgang-Demos auf Kassette gestolpert waren, waren wir nach der Digitalisierung begeistert, wie cool und aktuell sie klangen! Wir haben ein paar davon auf Bandcamp angeteasert und die Reaktion war unglaublich! Diese Songs werden die Grundlage für das neue Set bilden – mit ein paar Live-Favoriten als Zugabe!“
